What We Do

Own Your ADHD is a clinical psychology practice, offering services to individuals looking to improve their functioning, raise their quality of life and develop their understanding of their strengths and needs.

Happy Family

Why We Do It

ADHD can be straight forward to diagnose and treat, but there are also diagnostic populations who share characteristics of ADHD (e.g. OCD, autism spectrum, bipolar disorder, strong personality traits or personality diagnoses) but who rarely end up working with clinicians who have the necessary spread of skills and experience in these other presentations. Own Your ADHD can offer formats of treatment that are not often found in the NHS or hospital settings making sure you get what you need, when you need it.

About Our Founder

Dr Rob Agnew has worked in over 40 services in the NHS, private and voluntary/charitable sectors. Having qualified from UCL in 2008 as a clinical psychologist, he has spent the last 15 years in practice working in brain injury, specialist adolescent forensics, psychiatry, autism, ADHD, neuropsychiatry, challenging behaviour/neurobehaviour, and deliberate self harm/personality services. He  is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Chair of their Section of Sexualities, sits on the the Practice Guidelines Review Group and the Mental Capacity Advisory Board. He has undertaken high profile medico-legal cases and since 2012 has been a listed expert on the General Medical Council's rosta of experts.

He has a background in vocational rehabilitation, return to work and clinical hypnosis.
